Stainless Steel Tying Wire
Soft annealed stainless wire for tying insulation in place before it is jacketed - pipe sections, blankets, mattresses and wire mesh.
Product Details
Before any cladding goes on, the insulation underneath has to be held tight to the pipe or vessel. Tying wire does that job: soft annealed so it twists easily with pliers, and stainless so it does not rust away out of sight under the jacketing.
Grades and sizes
- Grade 304 for general service
- Grade 316 for coastal, offshore and chemical plants
- Soft annealed for easy twisting and lacing
- Common diameters from 0.9 mm to 1.6 mm, other gauges on request
