Polyolefin (XLPE) Insulation
Closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene for chilled water, condensate and HVAC duct work - low water absorption, UV and ozone resistant, and light enough to install quickly on large runs.
Cross-linked polyethylene is the practical choice on large MEP packages: closed-cell, light, flexible and quick to install over long duct and pipe runs. It resists water pickup and shrugs off UV and ozone, so it holds up on plant rooms and rooftops as well as inside ceilings.
