Phenolic Foam Insulation
The best thermal conductivity of any foam we supply at 0.018 W/m·K, with a Class O fire rating - the specification to reach for when both energy performance and fire safety are tight.
Phenolic foam does two things at once that most materials trade off against each other: it has the lowest thermal conductivity of any foam we supply, and it carries a Class O fire rating. On projects where the energy calculation and the fire strategy are both demanding, it is usually the answer.
